Sambhali Trust in June 2012

Khamaghani Dear well wishers...

I am extremely sorry it took me a while in updating the blog. I have been away in Europe this June making presentations in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. My friends and well wishers of Sambhali Trust were very kind and generous to us. We are very thankful to everyone who have helped us arranged the presentations and those who have taken time out of their daily busy schedules to come and hear us.
Without the help of Ms. Ernestine Badegruber and Ms. Natalie and Rahel, our travel would not have been possible.

Sambhali Trust:
We have 80 kids in good private schools this year sponsored by us to continue or go back to school.
Without the help of sponsors this would not have been possible. We are still in need to send 10 more children lined up to send back or continue school.

We have had 18 volunteers at a time from Global Village, Australia, Granny Aupair and others who contacted us directly through our website.

June was full of french teenage students staying with us at the Durag Niwas guesthouse and meeting the Sambhali Trust participants for cultural exchange program.

We have started few new projects this time.
We moved the Sambhali boutique to a new location at the clock tower (killikhanna), we have started Sambhali Sheerni Educational program with 15 dalit girls who have come from three different arid thar desert for a better, risk free life in Jodhpur with an opportunity for a  good boarding and schooling.
